The 'Jan van Leeuwen' peony – this variety produces Japanese type flowers. External petals are white and wide when external petals are narrower and more crimpled. The centre of the flower comprises numerous yellow-golden stamens. The flowers produce slight, nice fragrance. Leaves are dark green. Shoots are strong, which allows to keep the plant in upright position during flowering. It is recommended for cut flowers.
